Recently, the Little Friends girls spent some time making home made cheesy bone dog treats, here at the office! We found the recipe on a really awesome blog, http://www.sugarthegoldenretriever.com/dog-treat-recipes/ . Our dogs loved them so much plus we had so much fun that we want to share the experience with you! The treats are very easy to make and they only have four ingredients. Check out our video here!!! We even tried them ourselves, so human approved..enjoy!
Cheesy Bone Treats
4 cups of flour
2 cups of shredded cheese
2 tablespoons (1/4 cup of oil)
1 1/3 cups of water
Combine flour and cheese. Stir in oil & water. Adjust liquid as necessary to make the dough. Roll on floured cutting board to 3/8″ thick. Cut with cutters, using whatever shapes you desire (we used a house, a fire hydrant, a bone, & a dog) 🙂 Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 2.5-3 hours in 250 degrees oven, or until treats are thoroughly dry. Optional Ingredient: 1 egg or use whole dried egg powder. http://www.sugarthegoldenretriever.com/2010/08/tasty-weekend/
